Belfast Area High School presents the musical "Oklahoma". A classic Rodgers and Hammerstein production. You won’t want to miss it. Show dates are Friday and Saturday November 6,7,13 &14 at 7pm and Sunday November 8 & 15 at 3pm in the Belfast Area High School Auditorium. With the purchase of a ticket there will be free square dance/ contra dance lessons courtesy of Joseph Fabian 30 minutes prior to each show. The annual scarecrow and pumpkin festival takes place in Searsport this year on Friday and Saturday, Oct 9th and 10th beginning at 10 each morning,. Activities scheduled include a parade, treasure hunt, bonfire, contests, live music and fireworks.

The Green Store, 71 Main Street in Belfast in Belfast will host a Columbus Day weekend sale to benefit the River School. Ten percent of all proceeds on October 10th will be donated to the school.

The Campbells, New England’s first family of Gospel music, are presently on a tour of the US and Canada. The family will give a concert at the Thomaston American Legion Hall, 10 AM Sunday October 11th
 
 
Medicare participants can get a free flu shot at the John Street Methodist Church from 1 to 3PM on Thursday October 15th. Bring your Medicare card for the free shot. All others pay 25 dollars. Hosted by Camden Area District Nurses Assn.
 
If you love the game of cribbage, come to the community center in Searsport on the first and third Fridays of each month. Bring a board, cards and a partner too. All are welcome. Games last through next April.
